Free roaming is NOT going well

Frozen in fear, been in same position unmoving for about ten minutes now. Ugh.

Oh and always be sure there's nothing on the floor that he might swallow like a coin, rubber band, paper clip , etc.

Super important! I sweep before I let him out.
I do plenty of crafts, and also circuit board soldering, and Taco is curious... I'm very sure he won't attempt eating such parts as even with insects he is picky, but that tongue is sticky... and I see it as a realistic danger that small parts, when he would lick them out of curiosity, might get stuck on his tongue and then swallowed.
Also, my desk is no-no, he's not allowed up there.

Oh you know me, lol, I even stuffed towels under the fridge and stove even though I doubt he could fit under them, just in case. And put a rubbermaid lid with heavy backpacks behind to block off the safe kitchen from the other rooms. You could eat off that floor today lol.

Thats why Im only letting him in the kitchen...he is faster than me, and if he gets stuck under something, Im not sure I could get him out lol.

whenever Flame roams around, the first thing he does is go under something like a bed, couch, table, etc.

pool noodles can be your best friend in some of these times! they are super cheap and fit under things like couch gaps, bookshelves, or doors. our office used to have carpet, and the doors are set for that size. now without the carpet there is a significant gap which sir henry has learned he can run/pancake/slide under. he REALLY likes the living room, probably because it is not dragon proof!!! anyway, we slit the length of a noodle and installed it on the bottom of the doors. no more escaping!

this is a really helpful tip, thank you for sharing! My dragon just went under the couch for the first time while free roaming and I was looking for ways to block off his access (it's really annoying for me to get under there haha)

I was using rolled towels, rolled blankets and rolled coats but im def going to try the pool noodles instead!

I've also been doing rolled towels and clothes but they sometimes get unraveled when he climbs all over them
