Good morning beardie friends,
I have had my beardie since last April.
Mostly got it for my 5 year old son, he has autism so wanted him to have a pet that's calm and doesn't jump or move to quickly.
The beardie we got was 2 year old rescue from a local reptile shop. This was my first reptile so I was a bit timid but we were both excited. However the beardie we got (lizary) seems very timid. She has never been comfortable to be hand fed even with insects. When we got her she would freeze whenever we got near her cage. My son would want to get her out to play with her, but she wouldn't move just stay still.
Fast forward to now, she is finally starting to be more comfortable and will walk around when taking her out of the cage. My question is how do I know if she is stressed or she doesn't like it? How do I know when she is done and wants back in?
Any advice is useful,
Thanks
