His tail has been white for almost a week, ready to shed. Should I buy some of the easy shed from the pet store? Is this a way to cause tail rot, if so, what should I do? I have gave him 2-3 baths in the last 5 days. He is shedding his head right now, but he normally does his tail first and toes last.
Depends on the dragon. Some shed different parts at different times. I wouldn't worry yet as long as you're giving him bathes once a day and the point where the new skin and old skin doesn't look constricted, i'd just wait. Harley shed her tail and head first, then about a week later her legs and a day later her back. Just bath Freddie daily and watch him. You could try shed aid if you wanted but i'd personally just stick to bathing daily.
