It's funny you say it that way, Sinatra has started to do the same thing. He always trys to find an elevated position and just studies everything going on. He seems especially suspicious of the dog lmao.
Foxy not only sits on a hill (on his house under the tree), he periodically (once every 1-2 hours) gets off it and walks around the territory. Then he comes back and proudly bobs his head.

How is Sinatra doing? Has he become interested in food?

Not in the least. I pull his lip down and stick an extra large dubia in and he'll eat it but he won't go for them on his own. I swear I think he is doing it just to make me hand feed him lol.

They can actually do that.
Foxy, for example, doesn't like to grab hornworms himself because they wriggle.
When I show him a hornworm, he opens his mouth wide: "come on, put it there..." lol
I think we spoiled them lol.

I think he adorable!
Thank you! I will pass on your words to him!
And a hug from the rest of us
Agreed!
Just in time for the holiday. The best gift
Yes, this is a real gift!
I assumed that he would finish brumation by Christmas or New Year. But it was so hard to wait.
I love watching him when he explores and is interested in everything around him. He seems really happy. And I am ready to tolerate a little bit of his demanding to be let out for a walk every morning.

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
