Food still alive in poop

Just saw disturbing image of a 2 day old eatten black fly larvae wiggling in my bearded dragon poop. Has me concerned that it could cause internal damage if they don’t die. This was his main source of protein now I’m worried

I don't think it will be harmful, but means that it was digested too quickly and passed through. Missed nutrients is probably the main result. BSFL are so small that they are usually eaten in large quantity and gobbled down pretty quickly by a dragon. If they don't take time to chew the BSFL, it may pass through undigested like this. While I don't think this is harmful, it might be best to hand feed the BSFL and slow the rate they're eating to allow for more thorough chewing when possible.

I did see a bit of blood in his poop the other day too, which wondering why. Just tad bit

Might just be straining a bit. Maybe dehydrated? Keep an eye on it but don't worry unless it continues or gets worse.
