WOW nice job. You really thought it out well.

Your tortoise is so cute. I have had box turtles in the past so I can't really help you there. I do believe they like greens and fruit. I'm not sure on temps etc.

Your dragon just needs some furniture and he should be good to go in his new condo.

I wish I had a set up like that.

Is it a russian, can't tell from the pic, If so go to http://www.russiantortoise.org the best source on proper husbandry. I have had russians for 10yrs and redfoots for 2, love em. Please don't give your tort fruits, dk leafy greens is the best.

It looks like a sulcata. . . search the web for care sheets and what not. If it is a sulcata thhink of them like a horse, they are grazing animals who eat mostly grasses n what not. Take alook at the caresheets for them, theres a bunch out there

Good looking enclosure. I have a Sulcata (a.k.a. African Spurred Tortoise) and they are pretty cool, but they are the third largest tortoise in the world and do not hibernate, so you need to start planning for an outdoor heated shed for it live in in the winter months. I thought I would be ok living in AZ but it still gets too cold in the winter (we are at 5000'). But you will have a few years before you should have to worry. The other thing is that they are a burrowing species and can dig 4 foot deep burrows, they will push over fences (really anything) if they can see through them. It can be as little as 5 years before this becomes an issue.

As far as food, they really need to eat their native grasses to prevent "pyramiding" and I feed ZooMed grassland Tortoise food as a staple but I will give greens and squashes and cactus as things as treats.

You do need to add a shallow soaking tub for the little guy. They need to soak at least once a day when they are little. I use one of the clay pot things that goes under a planter to catch water that drains out, it works great, they can get in and out of it cause of the texture. They are slobs and make a mess of the water. Mine sun bathes almost all day while hanging out in the water. They still need UVB and calcium supplimentation, pretty much the same as the beardies. after a couple years you can let them roam the backyard, mine hangs out alot in the summer, I bring him in during monsoon season though, it's too wet for them.

Much more info to learn but I am out of time. . . LOL. I will have to find the book I have and give you the name of it, I highly recommend it, it was actually written by some guys here in AZ.

a poem by AHBD (THANK YOU SO MUCH! I LOVE IT!)

Sir Henry the dragon
Looking for his dragon girl
Ventures out in to the wide world
His hopes are up but as you can see
There is no dragon girl for Sir Henry
A light bulb goes off and he takes mom aside
Could you perchance get me a mail order bride ?
