I'm not sure if this should be here or in the breeding forum, but I have a female who laid her last clutch on memorial day. Since then, she has been eating every time I put food in. I don't believe she will have any more eggs as I can't feel anything, but she is gaining weight and I don't want her to get fat. I guess my question is how much is too much to feed?
she is a year and a half old and weighs 305 grams. Her diet consists of mustard greens, collard greens, turnip greens, sweet potato and red peppers and an occasional raspberry (not all the time, but a mixture.)
She also gets dubia roaches a few times a week.
I guess I'm concerned because she will go to her bowl when it's empty and if I put something in, she will eat. Her picture is below. (in her defense, she is very relaxed and sleeping in this pic)
Diet sounds good ---------------- more exercise  get her out of her tank and let her run outside but you must watch her or the LR floor --- 2 hrs of running around per day or every other will keep her fit!! If she wants more salads feed them to her - salads are not going to make her fat--
