I just want to make sure I'm feeding Dixon correctly. It seems like no matter how much I feed him he is always looking for more food. I don't want him to get fat but I don't want to underfeed him. D:
When we first switch him to Repti worms I was giving him 20 before leaving for work and a salad (Kale, mustard greens, and collard greens mix) When I came home at 6pm I would feed him another 20. However, after eating he sits in the bowl and looks at my boyfriend and myself on the couch like he wants more food.
So I increased the repti worms to 30 in the morning and 30 at night along with the salad. He doesn't eat much of the salad maybe one or two pieces.
Do you think he is eating too much or not enough? We've had him about 3 or 4 weeks now and after his first shed he is 10 1/2 inches long.
Hello . You should be feeding a baby as much food as they can eat in 15 mins 2-3 times a day. So if he will eat more then I would keep giving him more. My male will eat about 70 crickets a day
I was feeding a 100 + phoenix worms everyday, I would count out 100 and put them in the bowl and see how much he eats in the first feeding then put that plus a little extra in for the 2nd feeding.
