Feeding Avocado

Hello. So I was recently looking at the beautiful dragons safe foods list. I noticed that avocados were in red and your never supposed to feed them. A few weeks ago I gave my dragon a couple slices of avocado and she LOVED it. She is obviously ok but do you guys think I should do anything else? I will obviously not feed it ever again. Thanks.

Hello Sam,

It has been several weeks since she had some avocado & is fine?
If she isn't having any issues I would say you don't need to do anything else since she hasn't shown any problems or illness.
It is toxic in large amounts so a small amount would be ok, but it isn't recommended for feeding though.
I am glad she hasn't had any problems!

Ya she has been acting normal. Thats a bummer that I shouldn't be feeding it because she absolutely LOVED it. Like I have never seen her eat anything like that before.

Hello Sam,

I am just glad she didn't have any adverse reactions to it. I know, that is too bad she liked it so much. Maybe you can find another food she is passionate about too.
