Hi so I fed my baby bearded dragon meal worms for about 2 weeks now and then I found out that that can cause an impaction so I’m now stopping. He’s about 6” long (idk what age) and he’s very active and he just went to the bathroom earlier today, but he has recently gotten a little bigger in the tummy. Should I be worried? I just know that an impaction can cause death and I’d feel awful if I caused it. Thank you very much.
Yes please dont feed him /her meal worms anymore- they are for adult dragons only--- you need to feed him/ her crickets or dubia roaches 2-3 times per day dusted w/ calcium d3 5 x per week and vitamins 2 x per week-- offer mustard or collard greens squash green beans every day --- he / she probably wont eat it and if he /she doesnt thats ok-- his or hers main diet is bugs at this point - feed hi m/ her the size no bigger than between his/ her eyes-- I recommend dubia roaches they wont give parasites and less hassle like crickets- you can order them on line like from amazon and some suppliers offer free shipping- they can be kept in a 10 gallon tote or aquarium and fed dubia food along w/ apples carrots sweet potato for water --- sweet potato and apples can also be given to your baby! Can you post pics of your tank set up and your baby?

Just make sure he/ she is going to the bathroom- if there r no issues there he / she should be fine- but plz start on bugs- he should eat as many as he can in like 10- 15 minutes at a time-- crickets 20-30 -- dubias around 6-8--- 1 dubias = 6 crickets-- post, pics of your tank and little one plz
