Fat neck

When we got Nova, she had a fat neck but as she's eating much better here than with her breeder, her neck has...grown, for lack of a better word. She's 17 inches, 6 months and like 411g. Is the fat neck an issue.? How can we reduce it, if need be.? Will it cause health problems.?

Is it like this all the time or does it go down?

It's been fat since we got her. She's a bit chubby looking, but her neck has grown as she's eaten since being with us. Her breeder said she'd just give her a bowl of supers and a salad. But here, she gets a variety of everything and used to eat super well but has really slowed down on everything lately..

They get like that when they store food -- but it normally goes down w/ in a day or two - its normal for them to slow down in the winter w/ the appetites -- I am going to have ahbd take a look at her and see what she says

Yeah, it used to get big when she ate then would go down but there was always some fat. But as she grew, it grew too. It's ridiculous and doesn't look comfortable. But it was much smaller when we got her in october.
