Fat, Fat Gecko

I recently weighed my leopard gecko June and discovered that she has gotten quite fat. She's up to 82g now! She's also visibly fat - she's got a gut and seems to be having trouble fitting through the door of her house. I've been giving her one freshly molted superworm every night, but clearly this is too much for her. If I cut back to one worm every other night, will she be OK? I don't want her to be hungry, but I also don't want her to get fatty liver disease because I let her become obese. :?

Forgive me if my response is jumbled, it's early.

Do you have any pictures of her? I know a good amount of geckos around hat weight that are doing ok. I also have one gecko who looks like she is forever gravid, so I think it depends on the gecko. Superworms are sort of fatty, but I wouldn't think they would be too bad for geckos.

Have you tried a leaner feeder? Crickets maybe.

What is your feeding schedule?

I was feeding her hornworms but they're not available in Canada right now. She won't touch crickets or mealworms. I feed her at night, usually around 10 pm, which is right when she's getting up. I'll get a new picture of her today to try to illustrate what I'm talking about. Thanks!
