eye bulging

the other night my bearded dragon ozzy bulged his eye out he only seems to do this when he is hot is this normal?

Hi there, as far as I know the eye bulge normally happens when they're about to shed - nothing to worry about!

It does look freaky! They are just getting the old skin loose by stretching - I've been watching mine like a hawk today as she is also about to shed and I don't want to miss the bulging
