Did the vet say what was causing the tremors? You may be able to find benebac at Petco or Petsmart. I found a small packet powdered bene bac in the bird/hamster section. I belive it was Petco. Don't rely on the sales associate to find it though.
Hi, yes kind of, a theory at least, it's pretty similar to what I suspected actually. He doesn't think she has MBD or any major deficiency like that. He thinks that it's a combination of the parasites attacking her system/using up her resources and that since she is still so young her sudden weight loss/refusal to eat much over the past few weeks may have caused some overall but temporary calcium/vitamin/fat/ect deficiencies that should reverse once the parasites are gone and she is feeling better and eating more.
Also, I have heard it is good to keep the enclosure temperatures a bit higher over night for sick dragons, especially when dealing with parasites. Do you think it would be good if I picked up a CHE? Night temps in her enclosure and the apartment don't ever drop below 70 and usually hover around 72.
Not yet I am still at home but will be heading out soon. Ill grab some soy yogurt if they don't have that.
She won't even move around right now let alone adjust herself. If I pick her up and place her somewhere she stays exactly the same, doesn't even move her little head or legs. It's been bad lately but not that bad. Her eyes are closed too but she is breathing. I've put her on one of her favourite spots for now to warm up, it doesn't get too hot or too cold there.
She probably really isn't feeling well. Hopefully the probiotics along with some extra hydration via water drops on her nose will help her feel a bit better soon and she can continue her fight against the parasites.
She is keeping her mouth open now and looks just miserable. I hate to leave her like this but am at the bus stop now and should be back with her stuff soon.
They didn't have the special probiotic and the damn superstore has 100000 yogurts but not a single one was without dairy.
I got bio best plain probiotic 90% lactose free, it was the best they had. Will giving her a little bit of this be okay or will the dairy do more harm than good?
