extremely short nails?

hi all, i recently noticed chompys nails are very short. i admit i probably don’t cut them often enough, but when i do i definitely do not cut them this short. however- chompy is a VERY active beardie and spends the majority of his time running around, climbing, and exploring. when he wants to come out of his tank he runs around his tank- his decorations are wood and a plastic rock. could he be filing his nails down just by being so active? is it okay? should i be concerned?

They look ok to me no bleeding that I can see -- will have AHBD take a look

They don't look like they're bleeding. They are really short. He could be filing his nails from being really active.

Look out for signs of damage such as bleeding or fingers at odd angles etc, but having them short like that from wear doesn't necessarily pose a problem. It can make climbing/gripping things more difficult for them though. My dragon has very short/filed nails like that - they haven't grown out in the 6 years I've had him. Doesn't seem to bother him, but he isn't a great climber because of it.
