Extra light

This is related to this recent post about UVB flickering :
None of my lamps flicker to the naked eye, but based on this post, I went and checked all of my lamps for flickering under slo-mo 240 fps video. Well the main lamps looked ok, but my LED “extra light providing” light bar was definitely flickering - but isn’t this what LED’s do naturally? (I just know that in my car’s turn signal camera, when it sees LED head lights from other cars, they flicker, I assume due to the sampling rate.)

So - can dragons sense this? I saw several references on here to using LED light bars to provide extra tank lighting. My dragon has had this light bar his whole life with me since he was a baby. I wouldn’t say he has any definite weird behaviors from it, but he does seem shyer than my last dragon and more prone to hiding at times. He is brumating now. This potential flicker issue is making me question all of my assumptions though - maybe this light is bothering him? Or am I worrying over nothing?

When he comes out of brumation you can turn it off for a week or so and see if his behavior changes.
I used tp set up my security cameras so I could peek in on my beardies through the day. My cameras have the infrared night vision. They absolutely terrorized my beardies, I had to stop using them. That being said, your beardie may see the flickering.
I also had some ZooMed med lights that caused a rolling wave strobe effect. I caught it by accident trying to get a video of my girl going bonkers. I replaced all those lights and fixture and within a day or so my guys returned to normal.

a poem by AHBD (THANK YOU SO MUCH! I LOVE IT!)

Sir Henry the dragon
Looking for his dragon girl
Ventures out in to the wide world
His hopes are up but as you can see
There is no dragon girl for Sir Henry
A light bulb goes off and he takes mom aside
Could you perchance get me a mail order bride ?

Hey! We’re the same age! That’s cool!
Hi there a little update we went from a 50 watt heat lamp to a 100 watt basking halogen heat lamp hahaha I saw some comments about it being so close so I made sure to put it a ruler away from her
Has anyone seen this before? Something in the corner of his mouth
