The temp roughly in the middle of the egg crates is 82 and the cool side stays about 70-72. I refill the water crystals about every other day and just toss in some carrots, oranges, etc whenever we use them.
Those temps sound good. Maybe try not using the water crystals for a bit and only offer greens/veggies and see if that helps. That works well for me. Bugs get all the scraps from my dragon's salads.
I'll give that a shot. How sensitive are they too noises and what not? I have my bin in the living room along side my beardies cage, and with a 5 year old and a baby it can get pretty hectic lol.
I'm not really sure. My tank is in the basement away from most sound and it's dark most of the time. I don't know if they are sensitive to sound or light.
Just a little heads up: I'm still having a couple different offs, some adult females(2 to be exact) but mostly nymphs. I'm currently using a 100 watt CHE and as stated before temps are around 80-82 middle of crates directly underneath CHE. The rest of the bin is high 70's. Still can't get the humidity any higher than 28%. I'm at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. I feed left over collards, carrots, roach chow, whole bananas and water gels. Food doesn't seem to dissipate as quick as it should.
