Pogo got a new Arcadia T5 this week. Does this look like he likes it?

I just went back in to the tank and Pogo hasn't moved from that spot. Just wanting to double check and make sure this is normal. I've seen him hang out in the same spot before. I've just never seen him look like this

Yup perfectly normal. The gaping is to regulate/maintain temp once they are warm. If he gets to hot he'll move.
