So, my beardie, Glaedr is around 9 months old. (wow that happened fast) and he is getting pretty big. His enclosure is 4ft. long and 2ft. deep. He has a few sticks, a basking rock, a fake rock log, and a fake rock feeding dish. Is that good? He doesn't really have anything to climb on, which I know is kid of mandatory, but I think I am good. Do you have any ideas for adding things?
I like to keep my boys viv simple. That gives him lots of room to get around, and easy to keep clean. You did not mention a good water dish, but I assume you have one. If your boy is happy, leave it as is. He will be upset by any change to his environment, and is not too concerned about the decor. My Dezi is offended by any change in his viv! He pouts in the corner and eats less after I mess with his viv. What a drama queen!????
A lot of them love hammocks. The problem with the green mesh ones is that their nails can get caught in them which can cause injured toes and fingers. It's best to stick with a solid fleece hammock or similar. They are available on Etsy. I've also found that they hold up better using command hooks. The suction cups tend to give way after a while and can lead to a very startled dragon (sorry Coop!)
