I have been using the Flukers disinfectant for years but I have a feeling it isn't doing much, and on the rare occasion i mix bleach with water but that always makes me nervous. I want to switch to something better and safer and I came across this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000HHNZVW/ref=psdc_8399163011_t1_B004Z64CF4?th=1
Any thoughts or advice? Is this a good cleaner to purchase?
F10 has been tough to find lately for some reason. Chlorhexidine is a commonly used disinfectant as well. If you can find Rescue by Virox that is another good option for disinfectant.
I wouldn't use that for general tank cleaning.
Leaves residual behind and off gasses. It would be a pain to use IMO unless you are planning to completely rinse the enclosure out with water once you are done.
Chlorohex is common, but the additional ingredients in that product make it less than desirable for this case.
Cleaners are hard to find right now. Steamers are still easy to find though. I use a good steamer to disinfect my enclosures.
