My little one has neuro problem and so knuckles over at her wrists when she walks, which makes walking hard for her. She has a a tall rock hide (inserted a picture below) and because of the weakness in her legs she can fall when climbing it to bask or changing positions while basking. I want to put something on the flat edges to give her better grip, like cutting them to the sizes of each ledge. She walks better on carpet and climbs better on things she can get grip on. I just wanted to get some thoughts from other people about what materials to use. I was thinking felt or shelf liner. Also does anyone know of any glue that is safe for inside heated reptile terrariums and won’t release chemicals under the high heat?

If you use shelf liner you want something w/ texture and NON adhesive -- you can always use rolled up dish towels as well - AHBD might have some better ideas as well flagging to her

Can you post pics of what you plan to use as a platform?

Is that a pretty rigid material or is it a bit softer? If it is softer/flexible you might could use a staple gun to attach fleece to it. (Not a desktop stapler, but one of the bigger industrial staplers) if it's the rigid material though it would likely shatter.

Rigid material unfortunately. Seems like hard plastic.
