Really could do with some advice from the experts .... i have reared babys before ( once) with eggs that were given to me. Now with alot of reasurch and money spent i have got my first clutch due from my own breeders. There 63 days in , really plump and white all looks well , but i bought a new incubator at the begginning so i did things right . so on looking at the temps yeasterday i decided to put a porbe in and found that instead of 29 d the reading was around 27 and has been all this time. so my question is will this hurt the embryo,s . The thing is i candled one to chek and i could even see the stripes on is tail moving around. so it has mssivelty upset me . i have now left them alone . so again will the low temp hurt them and what are the signs of late emryo death.
Incubating at 80 degrees will not harm them at all. Some could hatch at even lower temps., and even if an incubator were to lose power for a short time and go below 70 it wouldn't necessarily do any harm.
