So I have two bins I use, one for egg laying and one for roaches, both the roaches cant get out of
When I clean out my roaches I empty the one bin with dirt into another container that the roaches could climb out of
Magenta laid eggs in the lay bin about 60 days ago.
Apparently I missed three eggs..
One dud and two good ones
I was shocked! How could these two eggs have lived in the egg laying bin for so long! The dirt was still nice and moist, not where I really like it to be at for incubation though, and the temps in my room where the lay bin is drop to about 70* F at night.
I candle lit the eggs and to my surprise there are babies in them, granted no where near about to hatch like the other from the clutch, but still.
Two eggs I found,
Next to one about to hatch any day,
Oh and the egg about to hatch is that color due to what I use for an incubation material, so its just stained, the eggs are fine, I'm going to switch it all out once this batch hatches so they stop getting stained,
