So. My big momma laid 30 eggs yesterday, All fertile. They all looked perfect but two were a little dented. But now, day 2 and they all seem pretty dented. I figured that the soil was sucking up all the moisture, so i changed out the soil and made sure it was damp but not drippy. The temp is steady at 84 and the humidity is around 80%. Is there something i am missing or is this normal? Will they plump back up? I hope..... =(
Any change in the eggs ? If not, then they are either infertile or else they got too hot+ dehydrated or the opposite and got too wet. Either condition could kill them.
10 look great. 2 are yellow and dead. The rest look good but still have dents. I have 3 thermometers/hygrometers in there and they all say different things... but i am keeping a close eye on them.
Some look absolutely perfect. Some are still dented and a few didnt make it. The dented ones are plump but have a small dent in them. I have no idea what i am missing.
