Hey. I have a new banch of eggs that my beardi heached, but till now I didn't maneged to sucessed in hatching any of previous banches.

I have eggs in a closed container in witch they are laied in vermiculit, with a small plastic cup with little bit of water for moisture, and then all together put in incubator temperature 29° Celsium.

What should I look out for?

Besides that can I fully bury the eggs in vermiculit or is it better for them to be visible?

Hi there, you have to mix the water in the vermiculite. I use enough water to make it feel like cookie dough, moist but not so wet that if you pick up a handful and squeeze it not much water will drip out. So you mix the water in the vermiculite, spread it out even like a flat cake about 2-3 inches deep. Then make a hole pressing down with your finger or thumb and put the eggs in each individul hole so they are 1/3 down in the vermiculite , about an inch a part. If it ever seems to be drying out, add a little bit of water around the eggs with an eyedropper or carefully with a spray bottle set on stream but don't get water directly on the eggs. If you do, dab rge water off with a paper towel. I did it that way for about 20 years with near 100 % hatch rate. Here is a picture , I drilled or punched about 20 holes in the lids .

Realy thank you. This is already my 3th try and I didn't want to mess it up as I did before, when I used sand or soil.
