Hi all,
I have an odd question, Im not super concerned but I am curious...
I have two 7ish month old beardies, during their usual feeding time my female Shen-Ron will eat everything put in her viv till she is full,
my male Tamyas will eat 2-3 of any feeder I put in then wander off, then about an hour later he is scratching the glass and Ive figured out that he wants food. I now leave a dish with feeders in his viv so he can nibble during the day, and he does eat 2-3 feeders every hour or so.
They both get salad and pick at it during the day. I have tried only giving him feeders 2-3 times a day like Shen-Ron but he gets really cranky.
He is happy, healthy and more active then Shen-ron, so I'm really just curious if anyone else has or had beardies that eat like this??
They are the same age and Tamyas is the smaller of the 2
Love their coloring. That sure is a big size difference for being the same age. I have to ask, are they housed together or in view of each other from their tanks?
I actually bought Tamyas because he was half the size of the rest of the babys at the petstore,
we believe he is the runt of the clutch, and I love him!
They live in the same enclosure but with a partition in the center
The left side has changed a little since I took this pick
He has been eating like this for the last 2 months, I forgot to mention that,
They both refuse to eat out side the viv so Im swapping the sand for shelf liner soon,
Just figured I'd update a little, Tamyas still eats the same way (I know its been less then a week since I asked about this but its frustrating)Does anyone have any ideas to try with him or should I just leave the food dish in his tank with feeders in it??
Im just kinda confuzled right now and need to ask. Thanks for listening, any tips could be useful!
