Eating Before Brumation.

Hello all, this will be my first fall/winter with my beardie, Spyro. I know that pretty much you leave them alone, no food if they are in cold spots and to check hydration. But I had a few questions. Since I don't know if I will recognize the signs as well, what if I give Spyro some bugs then she goes into brumation? Do I need to make her poop?

And this just a curious question but assuming I will need to give her some water eventually, what about putting a drop of liquid vitamins in the water?

Hi there, spyro looks good and healthy, she may or may not brumate but it is usually an uncomplicated experience. I've never made any special effort to have my dragons poo before brumation, they just go to sleep when they're ready. You don't need vitamins added to the water but a small drop would be O.K, but only mixed with water, not on it's own.
