If you want to try to be exact, it will take some math. You need to figure out (guess) how many roaches your beardie will eat in a month. Then you need to calculate how many adult females you need to produce that many new roaches. They actually produce between 20 and 30 babies a month. For the sake of maintaining your colony we will use 15 (1 adult female = 15 roaches per month). If your beardie is an adult and only eats 15 roaches per week, that equals 60 roaches a month. 60 divided by 15 = 4 adult females (wow! I just realized how few you would need). I think this gives you the idea.
Oh we gots a Canadian here! Always wanted to tell a passionate Canadian herper to send this message to the rulers of Canadia for me!
Let me just say that your Canadian "parliament" is a little .... how do I say it... Oh yes misinformed! I tell my Canadian stepfather this all the time... EH! I'm just going to go off here cuz Canadians... well heck...just watch South Park. Either way..
Roaches are illegal in Canada... No, the only roaches that are illegal in Canada are the ones that can't infest your house such as Dubia. Don't worry all the usual suspects such as the Asian and German Cockroaches got the message and will never ever step foot in Canada ever again... NOT! Don't worry I know the Orkin man but unfortunately he's considered a threat to Canadian society as well. So... Enjoy the German and Asian cockroaches. We'll keep the Dubia South of the border here in America. More for us.
And everyone knows that RATS don't exist in Canada................................... ??? Are you kidding me? Open a sewer cover up and tell me how many rats you see scurryin' around. BUT all the frozen sterile lab rats used for feeding snakes are illegal?
Don't worry! Viva La Resistance!
Dubias and Rats for all herpers in Canada! No matter what your useless leaders tell you!
Stay strong help is on the way from your friends in the U.S.!
