Quite often people mention that a dubia is 3, 5, or 8 crickets worth nutritionally but to the extent of my knowledge this would be referring to adult dubia vs adult cricket? How would a 1/2" dubia compare to a 1/2" cricket nutritionally?
I'm not sure where the nutrition info comes from, but I think the numbers may be more due to relative size than anything. If you weigh crickets vs dubias you will likely have many more crickets than dubia since the roaches are larger and seemingly denser.

Earlier I found a post that showed weights, full grown dubias averaged 6x heavier than full grown crickets and 1/2" dubias had a similar weight to adult crickets.
