we have had our bearded dragon for about a month now and she has already shed once . She is about to shed for her second time but I have not once had her tail shed. It is starting to turn a gray color because there is so much skin there. We've tried using a toothbrush to loosen it up but it hasn't worked. We have been soaking her daily for the last week, 10 to 15 minutes at a time. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!
Hello . I would try some benodine iodine on it. Mix it with some water so it looks like weak tea and then soak your beardies tail in it. I would really watch the tail for any signs of tail rot. With my first beardie the same thing happened and backed up shed caused her to get tail rot. I got it when it first started so it was an easy case.

That is a great idea! Thank you so much. I did hear about tail rot, so we've been watching it closely. I don't see any infection or black.. its just like a foggy grey. I know she's uncomfortable though because ill kind of run my finger nail along it to see if I can get a piece of scale up and she'll scurry away from me.
