did you check between your headboard and mattresses? What about your curtains or any clothes hanging on doorknobs? If you have any stuffed animals in your room check those also, mine love stuffed animals. Ive heard of them getting into dresser drawers by climbing up the back inside of the dresser. Just some things to check out.
I haven't found him yet I have no idea where he could be. My friend Jeff who is a breeder said go along the walls and you should find him but i haven't had any luck
No the doors are too heavy. The garage/house door is by my room but the door is really heavy so it doesn't stay open long enough to get out. The noise would scare him because he is so shy. The other doors are on the complete other side of the house which would be hard for him to get to.
Yeah he might be in the inside of the couch. He can't get on it because it is leather but it is far from his cage. There aren't drapes or curtains that he could get climb onto. I also checked between the headboard and mattress. Thank you for the tips
Look in baskets of laundry, baskets of books, behind heat registers, under book cases, under and behind desks with bottom drawers. Tip over couches and chairs and look up inside under them. Look in corners, up on cords, clear a room and look to the next.
What is the temp of the house down floor level. CC was missing in WNY in November for 6 days before I found her at the opposite side of the house far away, on the floor in a corner.
Use a flashlight to look. Start at one corner and go slow, look in boxes and behind everything. It will take along time, but you have time!
We have been moving throughout the house looking for him. I have cleared 3 bedrooms, 2 closets, and the laundry room. I'm running out of places to look.
try setting up a basking spot in the hallway closest to your room where he's kept also put some live feeders in the immediate area of the basking spot you set up. keep the basking light on at all times and see if that will draw him out. Anyplace warm like around a water heater, furnace, heating vents, computer wires are good places to look also around the oven if its used regularly, They will seek out the warm places.
Yeah I still have that set up for him. I moved the cricket tank to the floor. The problem is that the warmest places in the house are across an "ocean" of tile.
Hey guys I found him-well actually, he found us! Thank you so much everybody that helped. My aunt went down the hall this morning to turn on the reptile lights and when she walked into the laundry room, he was just in the middle of the floor staring at her. We force fed him 3 wax worms and gave him a warm bath and he has been basking all day. He is really cranky and keeps getting pissed off at everything but he is back!!!
