Down for the count

I think Sinatra is down for the count now. He had been nappy for a few weeks and not eating good so I went and bought him a big ole hide. He spent one day on it then came back out for a week or so. Now he has been in it for three days and seems pretty sound asleep. I need to get him out and weigh him but I think he has decided to brumate now. He is two and a half years old in October so its about that time I'm guessing. It will be his first brumation.
I'm gonna miss my big ole meaty head

Wil this be his first brumation?
I can imagine how much you'll be missing him... Mine was brumating close to 3 months, but always awake for some hours per day, eyes open a bit but not coming out, or on especially sunny days coming out partially (head and arms).

Yeah it's his first brumation. His tail and back legs were out this morning but now he is curled up completely in his hide. I have a dark cloth partially covering the opening to help darken it down for him.

I will miss the funny photos with Sinatra. Foxy has also started to slow down and spend time in his hide, completely stopped eating greens. But he does not refuse bugs, I am still observing this process.
