Dose my bearded dragon look thin?

i have a one year old male beardie and i'm worried in not feeding him enough, i have see pictures of bearded dragons where at the base of there tail is nice and plump and he just dose not have that, i feed him roaches twice a week.

he is still running around and acting healthy so i'm not sure , please help.

(also side note its hard for me to get him to drink, dose he look dehydrated?.)

He looks pretty good beardies are not supposed to be heavy, his form looks good.
As fas as drinking, the easiest way I've found is to use an eyedropper. If he won't stary lapping it up you can add in just a little bit of non-citrus fruit juice. Apple, pear, cherry, ect or a fruit punch blend that doesn't have citrus. The added flavor usually gets them to start lapping it. Go slow at his pace, don't ever try to force it in. It can cause aspiration if you go to fast. Also be sure to use a wet cloth to wipe away any that runs down his chin. No need to take a chance on causing bacteria or fungus to start in his scales.

He looks ok- you can also place him on a salad plate in his tank feet and head spray his head the water will drip onto the plate and the movement will get his attention and he will drink off the plate- they drink at their own pace and will stop when he's had enough
