I noticed the last couple of nights I just happened to have my beardie out right before the time he always goes to bed and he did this weird thing when I set him down like he was trying to burrow down in the couch, he did the same thing on the bed last night. I set him on the arm of the couch and he started wiggling his body and head from side to side like he was trying to scratch himself or burrow in sand or something. Just wondering if anyone has ever saw anything like this happen before and what it is.
P.S. I saw some shed coming off his jaw last night so I guess hes getting ready to shed.
Like many animals, beardies like to nestle down before they sleep. Many beardies do a little wiggle or scratch around the area, making themselves comfortable when they are ready to sleep. Scorch will put her arms back and slither like a snake if she is on the bed and not being held. She is trying to get up as close as she can next so someones body to snuggle. Allot will do a little but wiggle. But I think the cutest is when they climb up and get right on your neck and rub their face around. Aw, nice and warm, now time for a nap.
