So when I get close to his tank, he looks at me but doesn't seem alarmed.
He also doesn't try to get away when I touch him or pick him up.
When I take him outside, if he sees a bird or airplane and is scared by them, he runs over to me!
And then I really like to hold him and feel his body, and he goes to sleep when I wrap him up in my blanket!
So does this mean he really does like me and feels safe with me?
This is a topic my family discusses often. Our almost 2yr old Kozmo is VERY well cared for. She has the proper housing, she eats like a queen and she gets more attention than us humans do, she's our only pet and everyone wants to play, hold & snuggle her often. She seems pretty happy, she's thriving, loves to wander and is never aggressive. She loves to cuddle around bedtime and we sometimes fight over who gets to cuddle with her. She has the cutest wiggle, wiggle :love10:
So, we wonder if she likes us or even knows who we are? haha We talk to her like she's part of the family(sometimes I feel like a crazy lizard lady because I really do love her!). I think all of these signs constitute a healthy relationship, and as long as she's well cared for, I can assume she's happy. Her actions tell me she likes us, as much as a lizard can.
