As the title says, noticed a little discoloration and saliva. New to beardies and terrified of mouth rot. Also he's a rescue.

What substrate do you use? Have you tried a bath with a soft bristle toothbrush.

He looks fine. As mentioned, the dark spots could be substrate or just discolored because they will shed soon.

Hello,

I agree, his mouth looks fine. It is likely due to his upcoming shed & maybe he has some dirt
or debris trapped underneath.
He looks good there.
