I have had our bearded dragon, Behemoth for about 36 hours. He is approximately 6 months old.
This is what we have seen so far.
A. 1 poop yesterday afternoon
B. Ate about 7 roaches
C. Ate about 5 Super worms
D. Didn't eat any of the squash or strawberries offered to him.
E. Not eating today, has been offered roaches, super worms and silk worms.
How much should a bearded dragon be handled? How much time is allowable for him to be out of his cage and hanging out with people?
That is good to know about handling them as much as possible. My son is absolutely smitten with his bearded dragon, and wants to take Behemoth with him everywhere in the house. My son is ten and has been saving to get the bearded dragon since June. He is very careful with his pet.
Good, I am hoping that it is just relocation stress. There was another poop today, though no food intake. So I figure that the little creature is not impacted.
for handling them, try as often as u can, but not too much, because they need their own "myself" time too.
I think its all just being in a different place, different smells, different people, its a big scary world for a beardie!
Good luck!
