I had Mojo out today for a great little time of bonding (see my blog!) and when I put her back in her viv she gave me an evil look and got stress marks on her beard and chest! Did she get mad for me putting her back before she was done? After a while she began moving around the tank and her beard went white again.
Lol yupp sounds like Mojo was annoyed that you put her back lol I can make my one boy, Captain Jack, mad by picking him up and putting him in a new spot. If I move him even a couple inches he stares at me and head bobs (no black bearding or anything tho). lol she was probably sassing you just like Jack does
My Princess Littlefoot does that SAME thing!!!!! She's usually out of her tank for about 4 hours a day during the week and she goes everywhere with me on weekends! When it's time for me to put her in her "house", she does everything possible to keep from letting me put her in. She grabs the screen on the top of her cage and will not let go! I've talked to vets about her, and they say that she's just a spoiled little lady and may have "separation anxiety". I laughed and said that she's just well taken care of and loved!!
Cheeto likes life outside the tank much better than inside, and it's a REALLY nice tank! I think if he had his way, he'd only use the tank for sleeping. even that might be too much for him, as he's out like a light curled on the couch right next to me as i write this.
he spends the morning out on the screened porch basking in the sunshine. when he gets tired of that, he relocates himself to the summer cage in the sunny window, where he watches the backyard nature show. life is good, REALLY good.
