So my son's BD will be a year old next month. He's definitely outgrown his 40 gal breeder! So decided to build him a new enclosure. I built the box today (It's 4'x2'x2' with 1/2 plywood). It will be front opening so I still need to build a front door (hinged at the bottom). Planning on priming it tomorrow and then hopefully painting throughout the week.
Here's where I could use some ideas. The dragon's name is Techno. My son is a video gamer and computer kind of kid. He loves retro stuff. So our idea is to turn it into an 8-bit gaming theme kinda enclosure. Thinking the the back gets painted to look like a Tetris game (colored squares to simulate 8-bit). Also may build an "Arcade" that would serve as a hide (he can go in and out the front door) and a basking spot (up on the roof).
Any other thoughts or suggestions for decor that would fit the theme but would be stuff he would climb on, hide under, or whatever.
