There are many areas in the hobby where there is more than one way to achieve the result desired and we simply shouldn't tell new keepers to do it a certain way because its been done this way for so long or its because its the way we do it ourselves. Giving them all the options with explanations of why and letting them choose the one that suits them will ensure innovation in the hobby continues.
