I am doing this is a hurry as I have to leave for work. I have attached pictures of Draco's belly. It looked pretty distended. He seems to be pooping and eating fine. I just fed him silk worms last night. IS this normal?
The last pic is from a few days ago. This is how hw normally would look.
Did you just give him a bath prior to taking those pictures? They can fill themselves up with air so that they can float and it looks pretty funny. If that's the case you have nothing to worry about. If it isn't, then I hope someone else can answer as I have no idea.
I gave him a bath after I found him because he had something on his foot. After I tposted these pics there was a very watery poop in food dish. I took a pic on my phone but do not know if I can do Photobucket from my phone
LOL what a chubby little guy. I just introduced silkworms into my females diet and right before I saw your post I posted a simular post about my female. she is older and much bigger than yours but her tummy looks all bloated like that and it feels firm not squishy... I would like to know if it has something to do with the silk worms???
I swear it does! Last night I got home and he looked better. Let me tell you I am pretty sure he pooped 10 times. I never knew such a little thing could make so much poop! I am very hesitant about feeding him silkworms again but he loved them.
I actually have not given him any more. I tried ordering some but got a call from my supplier that she wasn't happy with the ones she had so she was notcomfortable selling them. As of now I am sticking with reptiworms and crickets.
