i could be completely wrong but isn't digging behavior of a pregnant female?
are you positive it is a male? also, has your beardie ever come into contact with another beardie?
My beardie brumated at 8 months. I do believe that digging is a sign of a gravid female but I'm sure 7 months is too young. My beardie occasionally digs (under her fleecy bed  ) for no obvious reason. Beardies do do extremely quirky things
My 7 month old has gone into brumation and was diigging sonstandtly until i put a towel into the viv. then she crawled under there. Been there for almost 3 weeks now. I have taken her out to bath her twice, and shes active and awake. That is until i put her in her viv again, then its straight under the towel.
Yeah she went nearly 3 months of not eating and just sleeping all the time - I was worried sick but she came around eventually and hadn't dropped a gram  I really hope she doesn't do it this year, although she is quite hefty now and is generally a very good eater so it shouldn't be as traumatic
My Bearded has been doing the same thing recently... scratching at the glass, and digging all over the place.. mine is about 1.5 years old and I am pretty sure it is a female... and suggestions if she is trying to lay eggs to help her out? Not sure what set up to give her to allow the eggs to come out... I just went into her tank and tried touching her belly and it kinda feels like there may be eggs in there.. any help would be great!
Woot set up the lay box and last night and Pedra laid 16 little eggs. None of them are fertile as she has had no company from Paco but maybe next time. I will try to get some pics up of the eggs and the tired mommy.
