I started a small dubia colony and was wondering if anyone has some advice (based on experience) on when to feed from it. I have not touched them (other than to clean out the tub and offer food, etc.)for about three months, but have not seen that many babies! I am kind of shocked. I feed high protein roach chow/cricket crack, offer veggies (and some oranges) fairly often, and have water crystals available always. Temps are b/w 86-95 on one side and lower on opposite side. Any advice? I need to start feeding them off asap, since I cannot afford to keep buying more right now.... THANKS!
I understand! I started mine in September with 1500 dubia's, did everything the way everyone on here suggest. I was beginning to really worry I was doing something wrong. Then last Wed we saw 4 or 5 baby's, that was a week ago. Tonight while feeding them my daughter and I saw TONS of little ones! One thing I would suggest is give them more fruit. Lots of oranges and apples, and a little more time. It worked for me. Be patient, it will happen!
