Dig box?

I have a beardie about 4-5 months old. He’s beginning to dig at me and in his tank. I’ve seen people have Dig boxs and i want to get him one or make him one. What could i use for him to dig in? I’m scared to use sand or anything like that because i don’t want him to eat it. Any Suggestions??

Generally i wouldn't give a dig box until they are older. They lick EVERYTHING when they are small, they do it less when older.
