Dexters Nose is purple/red

So dex has been weird lately and ive noticed his nose from the tip to about .25 inches around is a redish purple is this normal? its like a bruise color.

He is really pretty !! Impossible to tell what morph he is,some red, some tiger in it, but nothing that anyone could call one thing or another. He has great-looking sidebars, he's healthy looking, too. It looks like a small amount of skin getting ready to shed, or leftover from when he shed. I see that on mine from time to time. Give him a bath 2-3 times a week, shallow warm water, always supervised, about 1/2-1" deep. Drip the water on his snout, he'll also learn to drink. Spray him gently once a day, just a quick full-body spritz. And don't be worried, mine always shed it off eventually.

Looks like it might be shed on his nose. How long has it been like that. I know mine will look funny for a week ro more before it finally sheds completely.
