Dexter has one finger on his left hand, the longest one, where it has a couple of lumps.
I am wondering whether it was a dodgy past shed, damaged from a fall, a growth, (or two) or something to worry about? It doesn't bother him remotely when I gently touch the lumps, so I'm guessing it's just a deformation, or an old injury?
I don't want to start worrying about every little "different" thing about him, I just WONDERED what it could possibly be?
I have provided photos for you to click on to enlarge.
Ironically, the photo that highlights the lumps best, is the one that's terribly out of focus, which is why I didn't throw it out...
PS... Just to let you know, he has got all his claws, it's just the bit by his fingers are clear, also they are lodged into my fleecy pj top because it's so thick heheh
My izzy has a couple of "wonky" digits too, and i too came to this site like you have, she has one on her front right foor and one on her back left. A vet i know assured me that as long as theres no blackening or swelling, or death of the claw on the toe in question that everything should be fine, and that its more likely a break from infancy or even a birth defect unnoticable when small but more prominent when grown up. I hope this makes sense and I hope it helps.
