I've got two beardies (in separate enclosures). My boy is almost 18" long, weighing 127.57 grams. His enclosure is 48"L x 19.25"H x 24"D. It's a custom built wooden enclosure with ventilation and plexi front. His substrate is currently a mix of paper towel and slate tile.
My girl is 18" long, weighing 106.31 grams. Her house is 36"L x 15.5"H x 24"D. She's in an all glass aquarium with mesh top, same substrate.
My concerns are: Are these enclosures big enough?
Should they be fairly empty to allow running around space, or should I jam them full of things to climb/play on?
Is there anything I can do/build/add to make their homes more comfy? They're pretty big, so the average store-bought rocks/toys aren't nearly big enough.
Anyone have fullsized adults that they've created homes for that allow for both exercise, and comfort?
