Hiccup went poop the other day -- it looked dry- dark and no urate (pee?) - does this mean hes dehydrated? I put him in the bath this morning and let the warm water run over him and put drops of water on his nose - he did not drink- or lick the water off--- I am guessing hes not dehydrated since he did not drink or lick water off his nose- usually his poop is real runny w/ white and dark and extra water -
I wouldn't worry about it if it's just like that once or twice. It was good to offer some water but if he didn't want it, that's fine. Dry poop can indicate dehydration but not always.
