Hello, my brother and I are looking into getting a Bearded Dragon, and were wondering if they eat their crickets (and other bugs for that matter) dead or alive? I know you're supposed to put some vitamin powder or something on them, and how would you do that if they were alive? Thanks for all the help.
Well, you can buy freeze dried crickets, but the live ones are better and beardies are attracted to the movement.
We put our live crickets and powdered supplements in a large oatmeal container and shake it around a little. It works great -- much easier than a bag to get the crickets in and out. Plus, oatmeal is good for you, so eat up!
