I found some old threads about this, but they were very short and I hope for some more opinions.
Does it make any sense at all to keep a cuttlefish bone in a beardie tank?
I am talking about an unseasoned, washed and boiled, perfectly clean cuttlefish bone. Would a beardie learn/like to chew on it for all his calcium needs?
I saw a beardie in a pet store with cuttlebone in the tank. I know pet store personnel sometimes have wrong/dangerous ideas about animal care, so I wanted to check this one, because if it actually would work, it'd be so convenient. And if it doesn't, that's one more pet store beardie to feel bad over.
If dusting the food is the only good way to go, then of course I'll do that when I get a beardie one day.
